Ok, ok, Emma's birthday was actually on April 16th. We didn't have a blog then so I decided to post it now! I took Emma out to a nice Italian restaurant in downtown Seattle on the 16th and gave her presents. However, Emma's real birthday present was a surprise party at my house the next night. I worked on her cake a few days prior to her party and I had it planned so that she never got wind of it. Emma came to my house on Friday and everyone jumped out and shouted, "Surprise!!" It was great!!
